Summer Caprese Salad

Ingredients:


  • 4 Medium or 2 Large Beefsteak Tomatoes, Sliced
  • 1 lb (16 ounces) Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced
  • 16 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 3 TBSP Balsamic Vinegar
  • 3 TBSP Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper


Directions:


  • 1. Layer slices of tomato, mozzarella and basil on a large platter.
  • 2. Whisk the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey and salt & pepper together.
  • 3. Drizzle the vinaigrette mixture over the tomato, mozzarella and basil salad.
  • 4. Season with extra salt & pepper if desired.
