Holiday Turkey

Time: 2 ½  to 4 ½ Hours  Serves: 12 to 16


Ingredients:


• 3/4 Cup Porcini Mushroom Olive Oil

• 1/2 Cup Harvest Apple Balsamic Vinegar

• 12 - 16 lb Turkey (unstuffed)

• 2 TBSP Garlic, minced or garlic powder

• 2 tsp Basil, chopped fresh or dried.

• 1 tsp Salt

• 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

• 2 Cups Water


Directions: 


1. Preheat oven to 325°. and prepare turkey for roasting. Set in roasting pan. 

2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until blended. 

3. Pour mixture over turkey and roast 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 185° F. Continue to baste turkey as it cooks. 

NOTE: If using a turkey roasting bag, follow cooking instructions on the roasting bag instructions.  If cooking a stuffed turkey, follow cooking times for a stuffed turkey.
