Italian Fig Shredded Beef

Time: 3 & 1/2 - 4 Hours • Serves: 8

Ingredients:


  • 1/2 Cup Italian Fig Balsamic Vinegar
  • 3 lbs Chuck Roast
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 3 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 TBSP Soy Sauce
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 TBSP Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)

Directions:


  1. Preheat oven to 320°
  2. Place the beef in a large roasting dish and cover with a lid or foil.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together and pour over the beef. Cook covered for 3 - 3 1/2 hours.
  4. Remove beef from oven and skim off fat. Shred beef using 2 forks
  5. Return to oven and roast an additional 30 minutes, uncovered.
  6. Serve on desired roll/buns. Top with cheese if desired.
