Italian Fig Shredded Beef

Time: 3 & 1/2 - 4 Hours • Serves: 8
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Italian Fig Balsamic Vinegar
- 3 lbs Chuck Roast
- 1 Cup Water
- 3 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 TBSP Soy Sauce
- 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 TBSP Honey
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 320°
- Place the beef in a large roasting dish and cover with a lid or foil.
- Mix all the ingredients together and pour over the beef. Cook covered for 3 - 3 1/2 hours.
- Remove beef from oven and skim off fat. Shred beef using 2 forks
- Return to oven and roast an additional 30 minutes, uncovered.
- Serve on desired roll/buns. Top with cheese if desired.
