Basic Balsamic Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar 
  • 2 TBSP Tamari or Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp Brown Sugar or Honey (Optional)
  • 2 tsp minced onion
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 TBSP Italian Seasoning 
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • Additional Flavor Recommendations: Garlic Olive Oil, Chipotle Olive Oil, Family Reserve Olive Oil, Tuscan Herb Olive Oil, Herbes De Provence Olive Oil, Cayenne Olive Oil, Basil Olive Oil, Rosemary Olive Oil, Bourbon Maple Balsamic, Teriyaki Balsamic, Italian Fig Balsamic, Honey & Ginger Balsamic, Sicilian Lemon Balsamic, 18 Year Balsamic, Harvest Apple Balsamic

Directions:

  1. Mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, tamari or soy sauce, mustard, sugar or honey, onion, garlic, italian seasoning and salt & pepper in a bowl until blended. 
  2. Add desired cut of meat and marinate at least 2 hours to overnight in the refrigerator. Overnight is recommended.
